In Mesoamerican Earth Based Shamanic Medicine we know that the bridge between the seen and unseen realms is ever present and sweet hummingbird is the guide, the messenger between the realms. He is the guide between the living and the departed ones. He carries wisdom and heart medicine.
We know that the Ancestors (los Antiguos) are always available, whispering to us and during the portal of Dia de Los Muertos, their presence can be felt if we lean into stillness.
To honor this auspicious portal, I’m honored to bridge Shamanic Earth Based Medicine when the veils are the thinnest and we are able to commune, communicate and reach the realm of the Ancestors and offer them mending and liberation the beauty way!
On this auspicious weekend we are weaving wisdom, healing and ancestral stories of legacy, resiliency and memory. We are honoring our benevolent, departed Ancestors and offering them blessings and closure through an Ancestral Altar that we will build together.
This offering is experiential, participatory and sensory and to partake you are invited to bring in your ancestral offerings like cacao, sacred smoke, flowers, candles, and sweets. You are invited to join with an open and curious child- like heart so that you may hear the whispers of your Ancestors and receive direct messages, direct revelations.
Friday, October 31st begins with a Shamanic Journey on behalf of your Ancestors to the higher realms. A somatic and sensory journey to the place where we can access the wisdom of the Ancestors In Mesoamerican Wisdom Traditions, we honor this place as benign and infused with higher consciousness medicine available to us during this auspicious portal where you can offer gratitude and liberation to your Ancestors. This is the Spirit Realm.
After the Shamanic Journey you will have the opportunity to share within our community the stories, legacy, wisdom, and resiliency of your Ancestors. To weave a tapestry of belonging and ancestral memories. You are invited to use your voice and share letters, poetry or songs to your ancestors as a way of celebration and honoring of the lands your ancestors come from.
Saturday is a day to integrate before we meet again on Sunday
On Sunday, November 2nd we are creating ancestral altars in real time. Think about creating and weaving a beautiful place for your ancestors to rest, receive, be acknowledged and celebrated, You may include pictures, sacred smoke, wine, candies, flowers and other offerings like their stapple foods.

There is no other way to start this message other than from gratitude. I humbly thank you Marilu. I thank you from my heart space for more than words can express. I thank Elder Humberto Soncco for bringing me back to my joy. I thank Yuri for bringing me back to hope. I thank all the Q’ero lineage for walking this path and for showing me through their embodiment what life can look like when we walk in right relationship with ourselves, our ancestors, each other, and all sentient beings. Marilu’s containers have always and continue to change my life. From the inside out. Most recently, I had the deep deep honor to be a part of Marilu’s container called: Intro to the Medicine Walk. Being in circle through these past 16 weeks that Marilu has led has changed my life. Again.

She weaves this wisdom in sisterhood that feels so safe, so ancestral, and so vital during these times of local and global injustice and rebirthing. During these times, her circles have been some of the only places that feel safe and right side up.
I am so grateful that the stars aligned for me to cross paths with Marilu. These teachings through rituals, ceremonies, technologies, sisterhood, and ways of being will forever change your path.

It is my deep honor to share the ways that Marilu has impacted my life. As a medicine woman who practices shamanic Earth medicine, Marilu also helped me to see beyond this earthly reality. She helped me to see beyond this timeline and beyond this agreed upon reality to be able to tap into the highest visions. She helped me to trust the visions that have been given to me and to honor them and bring them forth. She helped me to honor my unique blueprint and to honor the medicine I carry. It was her faith in me as a medicine woman that helped me completely unspell from academia and honor my destiny and path. There is so much more I can say about the teachings she offered to initiate me as a medicine woman, but those are not meant to be shared. I trust that they are seen and felt by those with whom I work. She also helped me to understand that we can only help those who do their own work, that we are not responsible for everyone, and that we need to honor our rest and pace so that our medicine can remain potent.
As a medicine woman who works deeply with the divine feminine, Marilu also helped me feel confident in the ways that I naturally show up. Spending so much time in academia, I felt shame for showing up in intuitive, organic, fluid, non-linear ways. And, in receiving her teachings, wisdom, and medicine, I felt more confident in my divine feminine, which allowed my gifts to expand.
I have also had the honor of collaborating with Marilu in offering teachings to the greater collective. The potency of our medicine is amplified when we gather and work together. It has been a true honor to work with another medicine woman who honors and actually moves through the medicine, energy, and visions that are presented in real time. This is rare and it is one of the reasons why I have so enjoyed working with her. I do not do academic and linear teachings, for they stifle the medicine and downloads that are made available for the people who show up to work with us.

I know that the work I used to do before, as a psychologist, as a professor, and as a phd, pales in comparison to the medicine I offer now. I humbly carry the teachings from the Apaza lineage and the Q’ero Inca lineage as an initiated medicine woman, to offer healing to the world that restores the balance and harmony it needs.
Marilu, thank you for your sisterhood that you offer so authentically, thank you for your devotion to the medicine path, thank you for your courage to embody the divine feminine so that we too can remember, thank you for all the ways that you show up, seen and unseen, that are helping us to birth the new earth. Thank you for being a person of integrity, for being trustworthy, for being truly devoted to the ways we are called to show up in these prophetic times. My deep gratitude to our guides for bringing us together again in this lifetime.
